Behind the trees

Hello, I'm Hary.

I'm a Marine veteran with a passion for bonsai.

I started my bonsai journey in 2019, just before the pandemic. What began as a hobby quickly became a way for me to relax, be creative, and learn more about the horticulture behind this living art.

My collection has grown to include a variety of trees, from ficus and elms to junipers and more. Every tree brings its own challenges, lessons, and character.

This website is a place for me to document those trees, share what I learn along the way, and combine two of my interests: bonsai and technology.

Hary's Bonsai is still growing — much like the trees themselves.
